J Jackson is a freelance OPB Digital Video Producer, Portland-based multidisciplinary creative and former Charles Snowden intern.

Before returning after their internship, J was a Content Video Editor at ad agency Wieden + Kennedy for 3 years.

Their body of work explores intersectionality and history—often around Black communities. From working on ad-campaigns to honor "Kobe Bryant’s Daughter Gigi", to producing stories that celebrate Black history like "Last Stop in the Barbershop" and "Beyond the Beats"—a special collaboration between “Oregon Experience” and KMHD Jazz Radio.

J holds a Bachelor of Art degree from University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communications.
