Julia Logue is a Portland-based singer-songwriter and musician who draws from neo-soul, jazz and R&B to create groove centered tunes with self-reflective lyrics.
Her newest release “Welcome To Your Sunrise” touches on connecting with others, feelings of self-doubt and how to trust your higher purpose. Lovers of Hiatus Kaiyote and D’Angelo will feel right at home in the grooves and phrases that Logue creates.
The title track is an intimate sonic reflection of Logue’s journey with these concepts. She recently came into the KMHD studio to talk more about how the new album came to be.
